SCIENTIFIC - MEDICAL DOCUMENTATION

Olympus+ Antimicrobial Water Filter was studied and manufactured by CENTER PLUS SA. The scientific documentation of the product, for extinguishing microbes inside the unit, was carried out by the Microbiological Laboratory of the Aretaion Hospital of the Medical School of the University of Athens, which studied it for 12 continuous months and finally MEDICALLY CERTIFIED the Antimicrobial action of Olympus+ Water Filter, in cooperation with the scientific team of the Hellenic Copper Development Institute.

UNIQUE SYSTEM OF ANTIMICROBIAL PROTECTION

The combination and the studied configuration of antimicrobial parts of the device, are the revolutionary Antimicrobial Protection System of Olympus+ Water Filter, since the continuous release of copper ions is devastating to the cell membrane and DNA of microbes on the contact surfaces, but also at any point within the device, due to the “Hallo Phenomenon”, which is a property of antimicrobial copper and can extinguish microbes even in some distance away from the copper.

WHAT RETAINS:

The ceramic filter in combination with the activated carbon block inside the ceramic filter, retain chlorine and - if present in water - pesticides, phenols, toxic substances, asbestos fibers, hexavalent chromium, cadmium, arsenic, lead and other heavy metals, in satisfactory percentage, while it lets us drink all useful elements of water like: Minerals, trace minerals, etc.

THE CERAMIC FILTER RETAINS MICROBES ANTIMICROBIAL COPPER EXTERMINATES THEM

The ceramic filter retains (if present in water*) 100% of pathogenic microorganisms of water such as: E. Coli, typhus, cholera, salmonella, faecal coliforms, staphylococci, pathogenic and sporiogenic bacteria, enterococci, cryptosporidium and other bacteria with size of 0.5 microns or more, and thereafter the Antimicrobial Copper System within 2 hours exterminates them.
